Haven't heard much from Cleanthony recently. Wasn't he supposed to be a potential impact player?
Perhaps it's too just too Early to say.

Never been much into gambling, so I never had a reason to go to vegas. Finally hit me this year that I could just go to summer league during the day and meet up with friends at night. Not gonna work out, though. Have to wait til next summer.

So, who are the players y'all are picking to kill it in summer league? Who's going to be the next Nate Robinson, Anthony "Magic" Randolph, etc?

Hope he's working on his game. Dribbling especially. Let's see how he does this season. Draymond Green averaged 2 points and 2 assists per game his rookie season.
I have high hopes, though. Seems like a smart kid who just wants to get better. He has the potential to be a versatile player for us. What's also encouraging was when we sent him down to the D-League in the middle of the season, it seemed he had no problem scoring the ball averaging over 20 points a game I believe.
Only time will tell.

Games will surely be televised on MSG as they are every year (and they're always on NBA TV). If I'm remembering my gyms correctly, the Knicks' games will all be in the bigger of the two gyms this season.
That's the regular season. After that there's a playoff tournament, and ... hey, the Knicks should at the very least have a dude picked in the lottery plus some decent returning guys (Langston Galloway? Thanasis Antetokounmpo? Cleanthony Early? Alex Kirk!), so maybe they'll be a contender!
I'm looking forward to it. Summer League is the best, in part because the draft and free agency have mostly settled down, and mostly because it's fun basketball in a fun setting. If you've never been, I highly recommend going. It's less than a month away!

I don't see the benefit in having Galloway out there. His spot on nba roster is secured.

His spot may be secure, but that's not a reason why players shouldn't be attending summer league. With that logic, let's just say that whoever gets picked in the first round this year shouldn't play in the summer league.
I want him there to practice. I want him to improve his shooting and passing awareness, among other things

Summer league is really for guys that need to earn a spot and it's also a way for rookies to learn some of the sets. Galloway ain't gonna get much from it. He could do all the stuff you mentioned in practice.

Tim Hardaway Jr played summer league his second year. Are you suggesting that Galloway's position is more secure than Hardaway's was last year? lol

Fans way overrate Summer league. It's pretty useless in grand scheme.

As you see it didn't help him at all and he shouldn't have been out there at all since his spot on nba roster was set. Him being out there was an unnecessary injury risk.
