Eric Gordon opts in, though it's a no-brainer for him to take the $15.5 million.

I'm curious as to what J.R does. Though the decision he makes now may not have been the same had he still been a Knick.

Let us shed a tear for the death of the wierdest, most awkward jumpshot that was pretty effective anyway.

Marc Gasol is reportedly expected to remain with the Grizzlies, although no final decision has been made at this point.
Gasol will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but he said during an interview back in May that he has "not considered changing equipment," and most reports have him remaining in Memphis. The Grizzlies do own Gasol's Bird Rights, so they'll be able to offer him significantly more money than any other team, including an extra year, further tilting the odds in Memphis' favor of retaining their prized possession. He'll be off the boards by the second-round of fantasy drafts next season.

Shocking.

Genuinely curious to see where LMA goes.

Can't fault him for taking the money and being loyal if true.

But he just kissed his chances at a title goodbye if he returns.

Warriors, Thunder own the Western Conference right now
Rockets, Clippers, Spurs are still there
Pelicans IMO will be the biggest risers(dont count OKC)
Grizzles are behind those 6 but ahead of Mavs, Suns, Blazers and Kings
Lakers, Wolves, Nuggets and Jazz will def be in the lottery

I think the Jazz will be positioned to make the playoffs next year and bump out the Mavs. Warriors and Clippers will be at the top of the conference, while the Spurs and Grizzlies take a step back. Regarding New Orleans, as awesome as Davis is, I don't trust their management to build a good enough team around him to go anywhere.

I disagree with the Lakers, like us they'll be able to grab a couple of free agents (not quite sure of their salary), but they have a chance to snag a good FA to go with Bryant, Randle, Young, and Clarkson. To tell you the truth I feel they have a better chance at getting a major FA than us because they have less of a negative history.

I dont think it'll be enough to get to the playoffs especially with Byron Scott as Head Coach

If Kobe is relatively healthy (70 games) I could see it working out if Rondo and some other FAs come through. They have a decent rister with role players who will contribute.

Way better position than us

LOVE the Hawks' DeAndre Kane move. I was a big fan of his in college and wanted us to take a flier on him. Hopefully Hawks don't end up signing him for the season and Phil sees something in him. Big, physical guard who can get into paint, score a little, pass a littl, and defend/rebound. Only downside in the draft was his age, but that's irrelevant now.

We have a superstar player in his prime, #4 pick and $27-$34 million in cap space.

How are the Lakers better with a corpse player (Kobe) taking up $30 million of the cap and no one wanting to join the Lakers until he leaves???

- Better pick
- Better role players to support a star should one come that are on movable contracts
- 45+ in cap space in 2016 no matter who they sign this FA
- Proven GM with a history of building a championship team

I'm not saying PJax can't get **** done. I think Kupchak has a way easier product to sell these FAs on

better role players like? Nick Young, Jordan Clarkson and Jordan Hill and oh Ed Davis and Wesley Johnson
Their GM has done jack since Buss passed(RIP) either plus their in a loaded conference.
Not saying they aren't in a good position but I'm sick of guys acting the Knicks are just so far from a turnaround, I seen someone say the Sixers are 4-5 YEARS ahead of us

I thought the Bulls would try and grab him this off-season to back up Rose

Sounds a bit like Galloway.
