Basically, we want a guard, but no moves are imminent.

So Jennings or some other expiring. At least they know where they're coming up short. Not mortgaging flexibility could mean that a two year deal like Kmart's would require Calderon going out...not saying that's a deal to make, just that there's a way to keep flexible cap space while acquiring a guy with an extra year on his contract.

Why not Raymond Felton when he is playing the best basketball of his career?

Did you see how dominating Felton has looked in the past few games? He looks like the Felton of exactly 5 years ago. If he could take his talents to NYC the Knicks would have a better shot at making the playoffs than they would with anyone they currently have at PG. Plus his expiring contract would be useful.

Trade Séraphin for a Guard, it is that easy.
Brian Roberts, Devin Harris, Wilcox+Prigioni, are some options that make sense.

Felton is a moody player. If he is not in the right mental space, he sucks. His second stint with the Knicks, his off court life was turmoil. Its not saying I want him back, but he is loads better than anything we have right now.
