- Melo was a "monument to efficiency"
- Lopez played like a man possessed on both ends
- KP might have had the NYK highlight of the year...if he finished . Solid game. It was good to see him assert himself a bit down low too.
- Even Jose got a little feisty on offense, and DWill gave us more than he took away
- Great defense all night

Great win on a back-to-back on quality teams. We've looked much better since Phil called us out via Rosen and Fish called out the team's D.

More focused on both ends and offense looks so fluid. A lot of it starts with Melo making great decisions quickly. The offense also didn't bog down into ISO in the last 3 mins, which is an immediate adjustment from last night.

It might be too early to say we've turned a corner, but we are looking so much better than we did a week ago.

What a turnaround this has been. Three wins against elite east teams. I thought we would be about 10 games below .500 before this tough stretch of games but we're a game below .500. Credit to Fisher for making adjustments. And Melo was awesome today.

Goddamn Robin Lopez was unreal tonight.

I said it on the game thread but this team feels really different now, starting this new year.

I never thought after the team lost to Celts and Magic that they're gonna win one against the Hawks or Heat but they did.

It's as if Fisher said, "enough bullsh*t, let's get serious" then boom! Everything felt into place. Fisher ain't putting the square into the round hole anymore.

Nah.

If we don't lose 4 in a row after our next win, the pendulum may swing.

Excellent defense as of late. Great win!
