This is what I mean about tanking. It makes losing seem like victory, before victory even happens. For the next 1-2 years we're in better shape than the Sixers. And maybe, just MAYBE, for the next 10 years they are. But it could EASILY be that the next 10 years the Knicks are still the better team. We're talking about guys who haven't even played yet. Minnesota has two of the last three #1s, guys who have actually played mind you, and they can't get to the playoffs. They're still picking ahead of us. But everyone wants to crown Philly and proclaim Hinkie has been proven right or something.

Until they've played a season together with promising results, the Knicks are still in better shape, crazy as that sounds.
