I don't think it will be as bad as some of you think. I think the rotation will end up somewhere in the middle of the pack and if the offense can over perform they can get to 85-90 wins this year.

I know, I know, it's only ST but it sure does look nice seeing the Yankees with the Best record in ALL of baseball!

Hmmm, when is the last time we had the best record in baseball with a minimum of 13 games played? :o :o

Just wish Comcast carried Yes by now.

What's going on with Frazier? My man looks lost at the dish lately.

Nice to hear that Bird asked Pettitte to throw him extra BP since he hasn't faced many lefties yet. That boy is hungry to shine...I love it.

A little over 3 weeks until the regular season!

Prob putting some pressure on himself and pressing. Don't think yankees were looking to bring him up until September anyway but he's definitely a kid who's looking to break into big leagues soon.

Bird has been the feel good story so far. He looks great! Looks like he recovered about as well as you could possibly hope from his shoulder surgery.

He's kind of the forgotten man with the acquisitions of Torres and Frazier and the emergence of Sanchez. The guy was an absolute stud for us before he got hurt. Nice to see him picking up where he left off.

he might end up being huge for us as he's a 1B and a lefty in the middle of the lineup.

You guys have a lot of hitting on this team, it appears. Not to beat a dead horse, but I'm still surprised that the Yanks didn't make a move for one or two vet pitchers on the cheap. With some decent pitching, you guys might have a shot at a wild card.

I think the Yanks are adamant, they will develop home pitching. Kind of makes sense considering the market for pitching is so over priced.

true, but it would be fools gold at the moment. I think next year or the year after you'll see some of these prospects flipped for pitching. By then Betances may be flipped for more prospects too

Hey Wingy, no offense my dude...but why is your chocolate always up in our peanut butter?

Is it just a case of wondering how the other half lives? You enjoy peeking over the fence? 8-)

Jon Niese doesn't cut huh?

I always thought Jason Hammel and Colby Lewis were worth a shot.

Yanks don't seem interested in Niese as a starter.

Be grateful for that. Hammel won 15 games for the Cubs last year and signed a FA deal for only 2 years/$16M.

Torres is having a great spring as well. I know this is not gonna happen but i wish he could make the roster on opening day and play 3rd base over Headley.

Ellsbury- LF
Didi- SS
Sanchez- C
Holliday- DH
Bird- 1B
Castro- 2B
Gardner- LF
Judge- RF
Torres- 3B

What a lineup! :o
