I would love that he actually looks like a tougher version of Girardi too, go for it.

*** we totally could have taken the dodgers. No NL team looks as good as their record.

Alright so im definitely buying into the theory that the baseballs are juiced, more than usual, in this world series.

I already knew the balls were different compared to 10 years ago. But reports that pitchers from both teams say that the balls from the World Series feel different compared to balls from the regular season.

Altuve's HR did not look like a HR off the bat. It looked like he swung at it a bit late, or the ball hit the end of the bat and not the "sweet spot". And it still went over 404 feet.

Trey Hillman - 12/1
Willie Randolph - 12/1
Peter Mackanin - 12/1
Larry Rothschild - 12/1
Raul Ibanez - 12/1
Don Mattingly - 12/1
Jay Bell - 12/1
Josh Paul - 20/1
Tim Naehring - 20/1
Dusty Baker - 20/1
Reggie Willits - 20/1
Brad Ausmus - 25/1
John Farrell - 25/1
Jason Giambi - 33/1
Alex Rodriguez - 100/1

I would not be surprised if Trey Hillman is at the top of Cashman's list. Hillman is about as close to Cashman as you can probably get AND he has previously managerial experience in the majors (KC, Miami, Houston, LA). The only thing that MIGHT stand in the way is that Hillman is under contract for one more year as the manager of the SK Wyverns in the South Korean League. But unless the Wyverns don't like cash, I can't see that being a big obstacle. So you guys may want to start imagining the guy in the center (picture below) in a Yankee uniform (minus the beard of course).

Here's someone not even on that list:

I don't know. I find it hard to believe that the Yankees would entrust a guy that has no previous managerial experience to manage the team. Maybe if the Yankees weren't as close to being a title contender as they have found themselves. I think it'll be someone that has had previous experience in some capacity in the majors. My money is still on Hillman. Hillman has had a lot of managerial experience, is definitely someone that Cashman knows he can work with (apparently the most important thing) and is also a big analytics guy.

Yeah it sucks unfortunately we couldn't get anything going on offense in Houston, the Astros seem to get their offense going at will. Yankees gotta take their offense to the next level, Judge shouldn't be batting 2nd, it was fine for this year because it was working but long term he should be batting 3rd and Sanchez 4th.

So close to beating the Astros but they took it from us and they took it from the Dodgers congrats to them they deserve it, hope the Yankees are watching this and come back hungrier and angrier.

Wanted to Astros to win over the Dodgers. So now we got eliminated by Champions, not runner ups.

Astros are a really good team. If they don't get too cocky or cheap they should be contenders for a while.

Meanwhile, Yankees will now proceed with finding a new manager. I have to admit I'm nervous about the new manager.

From the not fair category...

"Clippard went 0-2 with a 6.43 ERA in 16 appearances for Houston and was left off the postseason roster. Still, he celebrated with his teammates on the field at Dodger Stadium after Wednesday’s win."

The Yankees' BEST PostSeason pitcher in 2017 opts in. I couldn't be happier. Tanaka was dominant. What he did to keep the Indians and Astros off-balance was like watching an artist paint.

Awesome news glad he has gone along with this teams plan of staying under the tax threshold sending a message to other guys to sacrifice yourself for the greater good of he team. He's our best pitcher I believe he has turned a corner I expect him to have a total turnaround season. It would be nice to find who the manager is this week.
