Should Alonso be brought up now? Next week? Next month?

He should be brought up when he learns to hit .200 in AAA.

tj rivera? lmaoooooooooo

.346 ba, 24 doubles, and 18 homeruns

those are mcneil's numbers.

When you call up Ty Kelly over McNeil, that tells you everything you need to know about what the Mets think about him. It's obvious they value guys who have experience in the Majors over the young guys. They would rather play Reyes and Kelly over McNeil, so why cry for him?

It's not wanting, it's about calling it like it is with this inept franchise.

Cabrera will be gone by the end of the month and then we'll see mcneil. Patience, grasshopper.

It'll be fine so long as we trade for Kelly Johnson at the deadline

Exactly. WTF is wrong with numbskulls? Kelly over McNeil sent me over the edge. That's why I'm telling y'all that more evidence that GM Jeff Wilponzi is calling all the shots.

Hey look on the bright side, Cespedes doesn't even want to play the OF anymore. No need for a future first basemen now, we got him already.

This has to be BS. How's Cespedes going to make stretches at 1B with those legs? I'd rather he play 3B.

Can you imagine that? :noway:

This is a must-listen-to rant from Beningno. It's hilarious, sad and true. And I agree with him 100%. The Wilpons need to open up their wallets for Manny Machado and trade Rosario.

“My hands used to be a little bit closer to my body,” McNeil said. “I kind of got them away from my body and back to try to generate a little bit more bat speed which I’ve done, causing a little bit more power.”

McNeil is finally healthy after missing much of the last two seasons. McNeil played in just three games in 2016 and 48 in 2017 — including 18 in Las Vegas — battling injury after injury.

First there was a double sports hernia that required surgery in 2016. He was also diagnosed with a torn hip labrum but was planning on coming back from the first surgery and addressing that after the postseason. It didn’t work out that way.

He took a swing six weeks into his rehab and felt a shooting pain down his leg. A second surgery ended his season.

And in 2017, he missed most of the early season with a torn quad suffered in part, he thinks, because he was weak from the surgeries.

After almost two lost seasons, McNeil is out to prove what kind of player he is.

“I’m feeling good. I’m feeling healthy and strong so hopefully it’s all behind me,” McNeil said.

And the Mets give us Matt den Dekker and Ty Kelly.

the only problem with that...the keepers are the only players worth a damn around the majors. All that other crap won't get you much its just shuffling around pieces.
BAF Spurs:

C - Anthony Davis/Kevin Looney/Papagiannis
PF - Michael Porter Jr/Ryan Anderson/Kevin Hervey
SF - Jaylen Brown/Tomas Satoransky/Lance Thomas
SG - E'twaun Moore/Lonnie Walker/Wayne Seldon
PG - Kyle Lowry/Shabazz Napier/Tony Carr

I would trade both DeGrom and Noah. DeGrom is 30 and clearly wants to win and the Mets are not closing to winning anything.
Number of games Beasley stupidly wins the Knicks: 0
Trey Burke: 1
Hardaway Jr: 0
