do you not see how absurd that logic is?

I don't see either of those two going anywhere unless it's for some kind of unforeseen blockbuster of a deal. McNeil is going to get a lot of OF time and Alonso will probably get his call up in May at which point it'll be on him to determine how much playing time he gets.

The interesting thing will be if (1) Alonso tears the cover off the ball in ST and Frazier can't hit the barn with a banjo, or (2) Frazier starts off the season with 8 HRs in April and Alonso struggles in AAA.

alonso is starting 1b opening day if he hits.

don't be too sure that todd frazier will be on the team, brodie's mets are thinking of the future -- 2 way players. jd davis can pitch, so they might carry him as both an inf/pitcher.

Why is it that the Phillies can retool seamlessly? They were considering BOTH Machado AND Harper but now say (hold back your tears) no, it's only one of them. BUT, the good news for Phillies' fans is that the Phillies are going to be all in on Mike Trout in 2 years. This is how the Phillies are planning their rebuild.

Check out the log jam we have in the IF. Yikes. This doesn't even include Alonso. That's weird.

cecchini/dom are minor league infield depth
can rivera even throw anymore?
mcneil is going to play a lot of outfield this season.
frazier might not even be on the team.

guillorme is someone who could make the team, same for jd davis since he can pitch.

I doubt that we have many moves left, but I still hope that we kick the tires on Sipp.

they offered martin perez a contract before he signed elsewhere, so they’re still looking.

Vargas was actually respectable in the second half of the season. Maybe he tried to come back too soon from his injury?

I still think Brodie has one more big play left depending on if they can get certain targets to come down in their asking price.

BetOnline.Ag's odds have the Mets' over/under at 84.5, tied for the fifth-best in the National League with the Brewers and Phillies.

In the NL, that puts the Mets behind the Dodgers (94.5), Cardinals (88.5), Cubs (88.5), and Nationals (87.5).

NBA’s been amazing. Work culture is something I couldn’t dream of. We talk basketball & hip-hop all day/night. They have an iced coffee beer tap and cucumber water too. Makes life precious for sure. Gratitude.

i fail to see how the nats win 87 games.

it's criminal how people overlook brandon nimmo. he was very good last year.

him and conforto are both going to have big years, never forget conforto was on pace for 40 homeruns in 2017 before going down with that shoulder injury.

I think our team can now put up some runs. I have some hope here. But we'll only go as far as our pitching takes us. Hopefully, everyone stays healthy and consistent If Matz can take that next step that Wheeler took and stay healthy, then I agree.
