Oh, and when are you getting a major league manager?

LMAO at caring about managers in analytics world 2018. Front offices manage the game and we have an elite FO. Can't say the same about you guys

How about you go back to your thread until you win your division. See you in the WS. Did you get your "over the hump" camel?

You all can stay there and enjoy your circle jerk and feel free to troll whoever relentlessly in that thread! If Reub is trying to troll you, that's HIS problem. This is our space to try not to feel s#itty about our baseball fandom.

Conforto is already taking batting practice and Swarzak threw 20 pitches in a simulated game. Promising happenings that I attribute to all of Mickey Callaway's love.

Wheeler with 3 strong shutout innings against the fabled Yankees today. 4 strikeouts too.

After today I'm over Montero now. That leaves us with only 8 starters.

Mets gonna have the best record in NY this year....yanks might hit 500 hom runs this year but still have sh*t for pitching. Mets staff stays healthy coupled with a good pen = a contender.

Calloway said that Wheeler looked pretty good and then he repeated it. He seems to have command and movement plus his fastball.
Gsellman also pitched well. I'm guessing that as of now our pitching order is:

Thor
Degrom
Harvey
Wheeler
Vargas
Gsellman
Matz
Lugo
Montero

Having Gsellman, Lugo and Matz in our bullpen would be pretty, pretty good.

Noah with 3.1 innings, no runs and 7 strikeouts today. Our opening day starter for sure.

I really believe he's gonna win the Cy Young award this year, he's going to go out there and straight dominate. 2.20-2.50 Era, 250-280 strikeouts, 18-22 wins. He's the right handed Randy Johnson who got it all together at a younger age.

Montero is finished. He's been putrid so far this spring and he's out of options. Arivaderci baby.

Matz redeemed himself today. I'd move him up to #6 on the starting pitcher depth chart now.

I noticed that Betances had to come out for a 2nd inning of pitching because manager Aaron Boone forgot to warm up a pitcher to replace him. The team was standing around wondering who was going to pitch. When are you getting a real manager? Billy Martin is turning over in his grave.

Win something this MILLENIUM then we can talk. It's 2018!!! You lost 2 years ago. You lost 18 years ago...to the Yankees.

Bobby Valentine is spinning on a bar stool somewhere, mumbling about Mike Piazza with a fake nose and moustache glasses on. Drooling on himself!!!

Hey Doc...where's the straw?

Make it to the World Series this DECADE and then we can talk.

But first you better get yourself a major league manager who understands that before you take out one pitcher it helps to warm up another one.
