Bautista looks pretty good so far. He's had a few hits and is hustling his ass off. Plays a decent 3B too.
Jay Bruce has been the worst. I've had plantar fasciitis and there's no way that it should affect his swing that much.

Maybe we'll be lucky enough to take advantage of a weak closer market hopefully and be able to trade Ramos at the deadline, even with his struggles we should be able to get something for him.

Vargas should be moved to the pen with Lugo starting. I've seen enough of him.

I never thought I'd say this but when is Robles coming back? Man is Ramos terrible.

Actually where's Swarzak? People grow new legs in less time.

because hes dominating as a relief pitcher where as a starter he was mediocre?

This from the guy who said that there was no way that Adrian Gonzalez was making the team coming out of spring training.

If you watched him in spring training, he showed that he could throw about 4 different types of fastballs at different speeds with different movements to go along with one of the tightest, if not THE tightest, curveballs in MLB.

Well Vargas can't start anymore. So who does if Lugo isn't a starting pitcher?

the mets are paying vargas so yeah he's going to start.

lugo as a starter is dumb, lugo as a swing man that can pitch 100+ innings as a dominant reliever is smart.

There's a few players getting paid that aren't performing. That doesn't mean they should play

so because of this mets should move a pitcher to the rotation even though he’s clearly better suited out of the bullpen?

better yet lugo’s elbow is hanging on a thread, you want him to throw 100 times in one game? or 30-40 every 2-3 days?

trusting two guys that should be cut.

we have the worst lefty specialist in the game and mickey continues to let ramos pitch with guys on base when he never strikes out.

He should have left Thor in after only 78 pitches and with Jose Reyes pinch hitting.

That would completely devalue any trade value for DSmith. We need to either showcase him or trade him while he's got good numbers in AAA.

Unless I somehow missed something, should Calloway have pinch hit Nimmo - with the extraordinary OBP - first and THEN PH Mesoracca?

Got a three hour layover at JFK to LAX first Met game I see all year and this bum Lugo gives up a walk off homer to a bench scrub. Yep.

I warned you guys when you were ready to crown the Mets with the hot start how it goes with this team!

Bummer.

Looks like our catching problems are solved. Mesoraca looks like the real deal now that he's fully healthy.

EDIT: Holy shyt, we lost! I was in the car when Meroraca hit the HR to put us up. I was certain that Familia would come in for the save. WTF happened?
