i can't even with you, relief pitching is becoming the new thing again -- as was baseball in the 40's/50's etc
andrew miller made it cool again, guys like josh hader and seth lugo(and to some extent gsellman) are showing how it's important to have great relief pitching that gives you length. lugo and gselleman can go 2-3 innings in a game and that's the new age of baseball.
a lot of teams do it now.
but here's josh hader's numbers, a relief pitcher who'll get a lot of votes for the cy young award.

you think the brewers are like "damn he should be a starter" no!
they're happy having a relief pitcher that can come in the 6th and give them 2-3 innings.
