I'd rather get Lee than Gordon.

I'd rather Wade that Gordon or Lee.

Better be for cheap with an option. He'll be 31 at the start of the year.

Unfortunately nobody's coming cheap. My guess similar to Lins numbers. 10-13 million

Cheap, relatively speaking.

This is probably the last contract of his career. If he's below 10 mil/year I think I can digest that.

Like I said, Lee would become one of the worst starting SG's in the NBA if the Knicks chose him to be their starting SG. He has a career average of 9.6ppg, 2.6rpg, 1.6apg and his career DBPM is a 0.1 with a pedestrian DRting of 107.

He's a good fit. Gordon on the other hand was a bad fit (unless he agreed to be 6 man) and another injury prone guy. Knicks just need a solid 3 and D guy there.

It's the same basic craziness that folks were doing in the summer of 2014 with Jason Smith. Oh Smith is a terrific defender, he's an underrated scorer, he's a competitor, he's be a great fit, blah, blah, blah...and what we got was Grandma Smith.

He's gonna have a lot of single digit scoring nights... But if his role is defined as a stopper..he can handle the job better than most available on the market right now. Who else can we realistically target for the 2 guard spot to be competitive every night?
