Knicks-Lakers PG

This game had a weird vibe. I felt like we were up 10 the whole time, but the score remained close throughout. But still, another road win gets notched.
Rose started off blazing hot and set the tone with 25 points. He set the tone to start the game, and his proficiency Melo's brutal first 3 quarters. And, of course, when his number was called at the end of the game, he came through again. Brilliant offensive game from him, and though I criticized him plenty, I am very happy to have him back.
Melo shot the ball like dog sh*t for most of the game, but managed to chip in a lot of other ways tallying 7 rebs, 7 asts, and 3 steals. Managed to hit some shots in the 4th, but just had a complete brain fart in the last 2 mins of the game. Ended up with just 13 points, but I really do enjoy him expending a lot of energy in other ways when his shot isn't falling.
Willy threw his body around and pumped in 6/12/2 with a decent KOQ impression. Recovered well from some early defensive lapses, and ended up being a real stopper out there.
CLee the guy is just so solid, and blends in so beautifully, that it can be easy to miss him sometimes. I was a little surprised to see that he contributed 16 points on 3/4 from three. He chased around the Laker guards all night, and did a solid job as always. Made a pretty big and-1 in the 4th.
Jennings....Brandon, Brandon, Brandon. He pulled this game out of the fire for us with same HUUUUUGE 3's and clutch FT's. 19/4/3 with only 1 TO. Was everywhere, and though he seemed a little out of control, he made it work. As he has been many times before, was the spark plug.
But, far and away, this game belonged to KP. Was a complete monster. 26/12/2/1 with 7 blocks. Shut everything down in the second half, and torched the Lakers on almost every touch he had. His dominance defensively, and the way he's emerging on the boards is so damn beautiful.
Side notes:
- Our perimeter defense is still awful. We let Luol Deng get loose. LUOL DENG.
- Nick Young is still an idiot. Young and Russell were basically the 3rd and 4th best players for the Knicks tonight.
This was a game that we walk away from because we simply don't lose our heads when teams make their push. Still want to see us choke teams out, but we are still winning the games we are supposed to, and I'll take that every day.
