They're 3-3 in their last 6 & 7-7 in their last 14 I believe. Not a great team but def have started to play better since they moved Vuc and Payton to the bench.

No game is a given. Hope our squad comes out with focus to avoid unforced turnovers and dials in on the defensive end.

I like this matchup:

1) Magic rank in the bottom third of the league in 3PT% (.338).

2) They are young, but they're not going to overwhelm us with crazy athleticism, especially without Olapido. I'm confident that Fournier can be held in check by Lee/Holiday. The guy to worry about is Vucevic. Noah looked much more spry on defense last game; I'm hoping this starts to carry out as a consistent streak of solid play.

3) We're at home, and the crowd should be buzzing after the huge comeback win last night.

Nah, This matchup heavily favors us. We usually get killed when teams drive and kick. If they are forced to shoot jumpers all night they are toast.

Lets get this W. If Ibaka gets going we could be in trouble but, other than him there aren't many other stretch bigs on the Magic roster that usually kill us. I'm not worried about their guards torching us. Rose going under screens should be fine against these guys. Let Lee and Holliday handle Fournier and we should be good.

Take care of this and can you imagine the atmosphere of Knicks vs. Celtics at the Garden with only a game or 2 separating them in the conference standings on XMas day?

I pray we make quick work of them so Noah, Melo and Rose can rest and get ready for Christmas Day.

If we make quick work of them, we should play Noah extra to help him gain that confidence..

Everyone can make 3s against the Knicks so its probably best to ignore their percentage against other teams

Yeah it really doesn't matter what their season numbers look like. Our defense is capable of allowing teams to shoot above their season average
