Hornacek comments on Viral Clip Of Him Turning Back on ISO Melo

After reviewing the viral video, Hornacek said Friday he wasn't acting out of disgust, just familiarity. Still, he acknowledged that Iso-Carmelo — particularly with the shot clock winding down — is so predictable that there's no reason to watch. This is just about a month after Phil Jackson set off a storm by highlighting Anthony's tendency to hold the ball too long.

"I think he was just waving the pick away. So the pick and roll is coming so he waved it away and I knew what was going to happen," Hornacek said. "He was going to get that shot at the end of the quarter. I'd done that before. (I'm thinking), ‘did the crowd roar or not roar?' That would tell me whether it goes in or out."

"I don't have to watch the play," the coach added later. "Melo's going to get the shot."

Completely taken out of context. They even chose the most deceptive camera angle possible. He got the ball with 6 seconds left on the clock and was calling for a KOQ screen. KOQ never sets it (look at Melo screaming come on) and he has to shoot it because the clock is running out. Horny was probably mad at KOQ for ignoring calls for the screen. He's a 87% freethrow shooter, its a foul situation for Milwaukee, and you have Joakim **** Noah on the floor. I would've fired him on the sidelines if I could've. At least for one possession.

i'm not baiting you, i'm being logical. giving the ball to melo would be off reputation and not off production, you can't win games like that.

Jeff has become bipolar recently. One day Melo is being choked out by Latrell, next day he's trying to cut his minutes, the day after he gives him more minutes than usual, and now he throws ISO Melo under the bus

First off it didn't clearly show anything. Jennings of the only player that wasn't messing up. Secondly Melo wasn't calling the iso. At all. He clearly told KOQ to come on when he didn't come.
