That game of "where's Derrick" was more fun than most of our games.

we've recently given up 1 of the greatest triple doubles in NBA history, and then there's this...
the team looks like they're frustrated and that they've lost their competitive spirit...Jeff is frustrated, Jennings is frustrated, Rose is supposedly frustrated, and Melo is frustrated (he already has his 3rd ejection of the season which is unacceptable and is already a career high...he'd never had more than 1 in any previous season)
the defense is a lost cause, and the offense has no rhythm or flow...there's such a big difference between the shots that we get and the shots that many other teams around the NBA get on a consistent basis
The Sixers have won 3 of their last 4 games, and that 1 loss was by 4 in Boston...a game in which they lead by 2 with 28 seconds left.

This team is just mentally fragile. Last night we looked great for the first 6 minutes. Ball was free flowing. Melo picking his spots and making great sharp passes and then it's like New Orleans hit a few 3's and we just gave up. There's no reason with the top end talent this team has that we should be a sub 40 win team... Even if they don't fit that well we're talking about guys who have reached some of the highest pinnacles of success in basketball... Just on talent alone we should be the 6 seed and yet here we are... a disaster. Who knows? Maybe the sixers are coming at the right time to kind of get the confidence up again if we beat them... But who knows and who cares anymore from a fan perspective... It would take going on like a 7 game winning streak blowing everyone out in our path for me to get excited about this group again. Don't see that happening. Sad, just sad.

They are gonna play twice in my birthday, first game after midnight due to time here, second with the US time zone, so I only ask them to give back to my years of support and lose both of those games as bday present

If they go with the McConnell/Embiid plus 3 shooters lineup, we are going to get stomped. With Sergio, Henderson, Noel, and Saric coming off the bench, it all of a sudden becomes a really well-balanced attack that's going to be a load for 48 minutes.

Still rooting for wins, but I won't mind a loss. I'm at the point where I'd take KP scoring 40 over a win though

This team's a disgrace. Wow, I wouldn't have expected it this early.
By now, almost more than making the playoffs (needed this to be edited lol) I want this franchise to learn that low character acquisitions usually don't pan out. Sprewell has been the only exception in 20 years.
They've embarrassed themselves for a couple of straight games now with no let-off.
D'Antoni is probably going to need to get his grin surgically removed soon - and I can understand him. Hire Hinkie, let's go. I kinda feel bad for Melo, but he's not been a bright spot at all either.
