You guys are all simple minded....
Phils comments were about Derrick Rose..!
Phil and the coaching staff are tired of him running into a wall of defenders instead of kicking it out. ..
THOSE COMMENTS WERE NOT ABOUT CARMELO ANTHONY

No new news yet, per se. But things have gotten a little bit testy. Is this the end... or just the beginning
If anyone wants to find the genesis for the "point of no return" for Phil Jackson, look back to the start of this season. Remember that team meeting where they scrapped Horny's modified triangle and these gems came out of the aftermath?
http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketball/knicks/carmelo-anthony-31-knicks-hold-hawks-article-1.2881195?utm_content=buffercd71d&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=NYDNSports+Twitter“He actually just listened this time,” Anthony said, “which is good.”
Anthony has previously made clear his aversion to the triangle and belief that Jackson is longwinded and says, “The first thing that comes to his mind.” That can include the word “posse” and, of course, in-depth lessons on his beloved offense.
As much as Jackson likes to tout his rings as a hall pass to meddling, Anthony preferred the team president kept out of the meeting between coaches and players that lasted about an hour. “There comes a point and time throughout the season where you have to re-evaluate things and step out of the situation, look into the situation, see what you can do better, look in the mirror at each other at yourself and see the things you can improve,” Anthony said. “I thought we did that (Saturday) and (on Sunday). I don’t want to say we won because of the meeting, but you clear the air like that and guys speak out and talk and they don’t have to hold it in. They don’t feel pressured in the open forum. Guys spoke and everybody responded.”
When that report first came out I immediately thought of one of my all time favorite movie scenes, which I will now share. Sub in the first line with "It had previously occurred to me that Phil Jackson had taken the demise of the triangle rather lightly" and go from there.
That's basically what's happening now. Hope you enjoyed. On with this show. Clips game tonight should be... well... interesting.

Most of the same fluff. He did say Phil is very comfortable with his new life in NY, which leads you to think he's here for long haul.

But he also thinks Melo outlasts him, which I find hard to believe.

Jeannie Buss has moved on to the Magic Johnson, so doubt Phil wants to, or is wanted, back home

SAS and Max Kellerman said the same thing. He wants to get fired and does not care about the long term. If he did he would not be trying to get scraps for Melo is there point. SAS also said that Dolan will eventually get tired of the circus that phil is creating.
