Wolves interested in Rose. Harry Potter to Knicks?

Making this a separate thing since it's now a legit rumor. Rose stuff in here.

Rose, a free agent this summer, played for seven seasons under current Timberwolves and ex-Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau.
It is unclear what Minnesota would offer in a potential trade for Rose.
The Timberwolves, sources say, are among several teams to reach out to the Knicks asking about potential trades for Rose.

Man I dont know how to feel about this.
Im definitely not a fan of Rose and would love him off the team. At the same time though, acquiring Rubio might mess up our tank a bit. And Rose is an excellent tank commander considering his lack of defense and playmaking ability.

That proposed deal would be too good to be true. Rubio will be alot easier to move from from than Noahs terrible contract. The rest of the incoming pieces are of no consequence.

I'd prefer not to get Rubio for Rose right now to fuq up the tank, buuuuuuut with that said, I'd TRY and get either (or both) of:
- Minny's 2nds
- Pick swap (NY's choice for either 2017 or 2018
ESPECIALLY if they want BOTH Rose AND KOQ. and if I couldn't get those pics, I'd try and dump Lance on them. As we all saw during All-Star weekend, Porzingis looked like the star he is (24 &10) with a TRUE PG.

Damn, didn't realize Rubio re upped for so much money, what the hell?
But Pekovic is medically retiring so his 2 year deal would be gone. Basically comes down to taking on Rubio/Aldrich contract for Noah/Rose.
Not sure if its good or bad, but at least we get rid of Noah.
