OT: Ex-NFL player Aaron Hernandez commits suicide in prison

Maybe he knew he needed to get away from some people.

He went away for college too.

Maybe if he was traded it could have saved lives.

He was a knucklehead in college at Florida where he also got into fights and brandished weapons at people but it was covered up by the university. He was going to be a scumbag wherever he was. People are trying too hard to humanize him like he wasn't an irredeemable sociopath.

We live in a society where some people glorify thug behavior

Joe Haden said "he always kept it a hundred" our school systems are failing us

Yeah I have to say it was kind of nauseating to me how much sympathy was on show for him and his family(the latter of which is not to blame) with very little mention of the family(ies) he destroyed. Apparently even if you're the absolute worst kind of human if you can play a sport or write a song or whatever there will still be apologists for you even in death.

only thing sad is that his young daughter will have have to grow up not knowing anything about her father other than that he was a POS murderer

Or she mightve grown up with a murderer. From most accounts he seemed to be enjoying this lifestyle, probably wouldn't have been his last murder. It's better for everyone this way. She'll grow up and get over it, maybe forget him entirely.
