So good news, this means we're probably not re-signing Rose

I like this pick a lot. I think he is a much better pick than Dennis Smith Jr. For starters, Dennis Smith Jr has a major injury in his history. This is a red flag already. Secondly, Dennis Smith Jr style wise, is more in the style of Derrick Rose, of head down scorer. That's fine, DSJ can definitely light it up. However, I think with the way we are trying to build the franchise, Frank was the better pick.

Frank has no major injuries. At 6'5 and with a 7'0 wingspan he can be an elite defender, and I think which might be most importantly- coming from Europe/France he has a great understanding of the game, and he plays the ball screen game very well both on the attack and definitely with the pass. Porzingis and Hernangomez are going to fare MUCH better with Frank in the pick & roll/pick & pop than they did with Derrick Rose, or would have with Dennis Smith Jr. Lastly, Frank is a competent enough shooter to hit threes off of the screen, and open jump-shots which will come on extra passes and from the doubles sent to KP and Melo.

I really am a huge fan of this pick because I think Frank is a perfect fit with the direction the Knicks are headed. He teams up very well with our young and potential filled front court, and he should definitely help improve the worst defensive backcourt in the NBA last season.

I'd rather swing for the fences with DSJ it's a stars league

Like two stars in each draft. If teams knew they'd be getting a George Hill type he'd be top 10.

George Hill doesn't move the needle he's a decent player nothing more

You win with top tier talent in this league. I'd rather take s chance on a player with a bigger upside like DSJ

If the team tank on this board is angry at this pick... then I don't get it. This pick is telling the world and Melo that we won't be ready until 2020.

And it wasnt a regular draft.
In stacked draft we missed huge oppurtunites.

Now we're rolling dice for Frank to develop miraculously.

Phil tried this huge PG BS before. We all know how it went with J.Grant.
Now he drafted another guy for triangle fit.

**** triangle! Fire Phil!
