You mean Pop chose the only player that was a FA / was actually attainable. You're better than looking at things without context...

I didn't see a stats projection thread for the current team, so I'll just leave this here. It's the LO fantasy podcast Knicks preview.
- KP should go in the 20's at worst.
- if THJ can continue the stats he had during the last 1/3 of last season, he's going to be a top 75 fantasy guy.
- Melo outside the top 60 is a solid pickup, assuming the natural decline with a lesser role.
- WHG is a top 100 player right now and could go higher depending on opportunity. If he adds defensive stats this year, he'll shoot up quickly because the double double seems imminent.
We probably have 75-80 pts between those 4. Not sure how who else is going to add much.

Are the Lakers a playoff team now?
Lopez/Bogut
Randle/Deng
Ingram/Brewer
KCP/Clarkson
Ball/Ennis

I guess I'll give them a 1% chance because anything is possible. Randle streaky, KCP....streakier, Ingram has yet to show anything, Ball has shown less, and Lopez is absolutely due for an injury. Their best overall player who will actually last right now is Jordan Clarkson. Not sure how they are anywhere near playoff ready.

A lot of people hate Okafor and are unwilling to see if he improves.
If he goes to the Celtics and scores 18 pts and 8 rbds with improved defense, the Sixers are going to look dumb.
He avg 17.5 pts and 7 rebounds his first year, before his injury.
He lost 20 lbs and looks healthier. He could be a good combo with a rim protecting PF, like Porzingas, Myles Turner, or Richaun Holmes.
