And we've been in the lotto for how long these past years? Imagine if we had not sucked that bad in the Porzingis draft (or maybe lost a few more games). Or if we had lost a few more games for the Curry draft. For every single 8th seed that has jumped forward, there are countless more 1st, 2nd, 3rd seeds that have won.

Trusting the process is incredibly important. We can be the 1st seed and drop to 4th, and I'd be fine. Luck of the draw and we did all we could to maximize our chances. If we get the 8th by chasing wins meaninglessly, and get the 1st pick, we'd still be incredibly lucky and stupid. I think being smart will maximize our chances of being incredibly lucky, and we should expect perfection and smart moves, and not celebrate or explain away stupidity. In the same way, I also disagree with people who are okay with the Knicks making small mistakes over and over again, or can explain away bad decisions with "it's just a 2nd rounder" or "it's just 3 mill in cap space" or "it's just a few possessions." Eventually, small mistakes over the course of a basketball game causes a team to lose. Small mistakes over the course of building a team leads to lose seasons and years.

Anyway, in the end, with this squad, we only have hope in the end. I have to root for guys like Baker and THJ because I have no choice, but it doesn't erase flawed logic and decision making.

I'd trade a chase sponsored jersey for black uniforms. The chase logo is pretty small and unobtrusive. Logo only though no words.

I know its been touched on over and over again but it really puts how huge Frank is into prespective seeing him only being 2 or 3 inches shorter than Paul George who is a 6'9 maybe 6'10 SF
