Am I crazy, or do I see shades of Clyde when I watch him.
Something about him just reminds of me of Mr. Frazier...

They both could look like they're gliding when they bring the ball up, and both can slow down to get away from defenders (whereas most other PGs always try to go around them or go faster). They both distribute well, and both play lots of D. They both like to dress well off the court.

Let's here how Clyde describes him when he's doing the games.

Octopus is definitely a "can this person think out of the box" test.

Octopuses are supposedly super smart whereas squid are kinda bozos... so on general principle, I'd prefer squid but both are tasty when prepared well.

Regarding Clyde - Frank definitely has a smooth game. Beyond that, I'd hold my horses.
BAF Clippers

SF: J Brown | Dorture Chamber

Never compared him to Clyde, just said when watching him I saw shades of Clyde. Something about their mannerism's that reminds me of him.
If he could become a poor mans version of Clyde, then he is a steal for us. One can only hope.

Oh and about Octopus...if you ever go to Gato (Boby Flays restaurant on Lafayette), his roasted Octopus is just ridiculous. Definitely worth a try.

Funny, I don't think of either octopus or squid as exotic or a real challenge.. but when I was in my 20's, I might have looked at them both like Fatboy does.

Frazier has rarely used himself as a comparison for other guards. I'd have to say that's being diplomatic, considering how few of our guards have been really good. And how few played the style he did.

Exactly the ceiling I see.
Brooklyn Nets
Damian Lillard - Rajon Rondo - Trey Burke
Victor Oladipo - Wes Matthews - Javon Carter
Caris LeVert - Derrick Jones Jr. - Glenn Robinson III
Andre Igoudala - Killian Tillie - Trey Lyles
Joel Embiid - Taj Gibson - Kevon Looney

If one particular guard were to be compared to Clyde on the court, I would go with DWade.

I can see some similarities, but DWade is faster and better around the hoop.

Clyde was deceptively quick and was an absolute master at change of pace. He had the quickness to pick off a ball at mid-dribble and I never seen another that good at it.

Big hands from this sexy ****.

The size of his hands is something I noticed. And Phil likes guys with big hands; he said that's what made Jordan better than Kobe; Jordan could palm the ball.

"Michael was more likely to break through his attackers with power and strength, while Kobe often tries to finesse his way through mass pileups," Jackson wrote. "Michael was stronger, with bigger shoulders and a sturdier frame. He also had large hands that allowed him to control the ball better and make subtle fakes"

Hopefully it's a sign! Kawhi Leonard has got some big hands as well

When I was a little kid watching him play (I started watching basketball when he was on the team), I thought he made the game look a lot like ballet. I didn't know much about ballet or basketball back then, but I still think there was a grace and beauty to the way he ran the team.

The NBA store here in Manhattan has a wall with impressions of the hands of a number of famous current players. It's very humbling to put my hands into those impressions and see how much larger their hands are than mine.
