What happens now? Do we move on to trading Lee for Bledsoe if Melo stays?

The New York Knicks are pausing trade talks centered on Carmelo Anthony and want to pursue a conversation with the 10-time NBA All-Star about possibly reincorporating him into the organization, league sources told ESPN.
After talking with the Houston Rockets and Cleveland Cavaliers for nearly a month to help engineer deals for Anthony, the Knicks told both teams that they're stepping back from trade talks for a short time, league sources said.

Is anyone surprised? I'm not. I think we all knew the Knicks were not going to deal Melo. Two reasons: 1. The Knicks were going to get the short end of the stick any way they cut it. 2. Dolan and front office like him. That's why they gave up players, draft picks for him.
I don't have a problem with that. Some seem to think putting Melo at the 4 is going to turn a team, horrific at defense into a playoff contender. Now that's a joke.

All I wanted was for KP to turn into a franchise player, a lot of cap space and a top-5 pick next year. Is that too much to ask? Can't we freakin' tank right?

Hardaway, Lee, Melo, Porzingis is quite the logjam on the wing.
