Dudes were everywhere through my youth. I used to use some of their tracks to inspire short story scenes. First two albums still have tracks I jump back to once in awhile. Really sad to hear this one.

Ugh, this is terrible. Loved Linkin Park growing up and I still love their music. RIP and thoughts and prayers out to those affected. Sad.

College student, single, working and having a hard time dealing with stress of adult hood and managing relationships. I've been seeking therapy and I've been slowly getting back on track. Feeling alone doesn't mean how many people are around you in your life, no matter $$ and what you have. It's scary but you never give up.

Didn't like them because of the rapper guy, but once he left I like them. Sad to hear.

Not enough help for mental health

Very sad, heard he has 6 kids. I used to listen to Linkin Park alot as a teen. His voice when he yelled in songs was great. Crawling and such.

On a serious note, Depression is definitely a big problem. I sometimes feel depressed and severe anxiety from the day to day things we all deal with (i.e. the freakin sports teams are part of that ha) but sometimes the brain reacts differently for each of us.

I used to see a friend every week and back in January he messaged us on a group chat on a Tuesday night that he was going to come meet us to hang out and play cards that Wednesday of the week but he never showed up and we found out he jumped from the window of his office that Wednesday and committed suicide. Go to Friday and we are at a funeral.

Pay close attention those you know who suffer from depression. We never knew he had any depression problems.

Yeah...it's tough. When i was younger i channeled it to anger. Did enough damage that way. Then it got real difficult to fix those issues and it became just an overwhelming empty...lonely feeling even though i had tons of friends...no real family though.

I self medicated a lot...did MORE damage. I just held on to the hope of a new day being a little better each time. After a while...the damage caused is over. That alone is where a lot of relief came for me.

Now it's just day to day. Enjoy every moment. Make the best of every situation. Tomorrow is always another day. Life is funny. I learned to appreciate that aspect. Even when life is being a sarcastic bytch. I'm still alive.

Keep on keeping on brother. If you get depressed....just go to the supermarket and float an air biscuit at the checkout line and blame the person behind you.
