You guys don't realize how good Irving is. Like he a beast. You do what ever you can to get him

I don't buy the not wanting to play with LBJ anymore reasoning. The Cavs used up every asset to go win now mode with LBJ. Once LBJ bolts, they have no future.

Even if he knows Lebron is leaving next summer, and having to play alongside players like JR, Shump, and Kyle Korver for multiple years?

That team is capped out because of Lebron making sure players like TT got max contracts.

I remember an interview I saw a while back and it was Kyrie talking about how he had a conversation with a legend, I think it was Kobe, could be wrong on who it was he spoke to, but it basically was about Kyrie talking to that person about what the best way was for him to take over the team without stepping on Lebron's toes. I found it interesting but there could be some truth to this

He's a beast shooter / scorer that literally does nothing else on the court at a good level. Nothing. He doesn't defend, doesn't rebound at a high level, can't create for others, he's injury prone, etc. You don't realize how incredibly bad your proposals for him are.

People are mad at a guy wanting to be "the man"? He was the number 1 pick, I'm sure he was expecting to be "the man." He's a champion and played a big part in winning that championship. He's selfish for wanting to be the main guy on the team? You hear how stupid y'all sound?

Pretty sure everyone here has seen him play. He does nothing above average other than iso score. If you want your pg to be an iso scorer, then he's your guy.

Passing - below average
Defense - below average

NOOOOOO we dont want any more no defense playingg ball hogs... besides his timeline makes no sense with our current assets..

Kyrie is 25. Perfect fit. He'd be the number one option we desperately need.

lol you're clueless and don't know how to run an NBA team. KP is the first option and Kyrie should never be a first option for any team for that team isn't going anywhere.

You're way more lenient on that evaluation than I would be.

This makes the whole Rose to Cavs scenario much more interesting as he now won't have to settle playing SG or backup PG.

Every Kyrie pass ends up being a steal, or out of bounds.

Cavs should trade Kyrie and Love for whatever they can get, which should be a fair amount. Lebron is going to screw them anyway.

N8isScofield wrote:Getting Kyrie now would actually be smart. We'd have to somewhat gut the team minus KP, Timmy and one of Willy/Frank meaning that we could suck enough to get a top 3 pick. Kyrie, KP, Timmy and one of Willy/Frank plus potentially Porter Jr is not bad at all.

if we got kyrie our chances of porter Jr would be very, very low
