Starting Melo is not in the best interests of the franchise, according to Mills and Perry and Hornacek. Maybe you can put in a word on poor NTCMelo's behalf.

They came out and said that directly?

I can't wait for this explanation.

You want to talk about advanced stats and then rely on nothing but your hope that Kyrie has distribution skills that he has never shown?

Kyrie is a great scorer. Of course his advanced offensive stats are elite. No denying that.

Very little of that translates to wins without Lebron though. Not to mention his defense is awful.

Dude was 21 when LeBron got there. You don't think he became better than that? You're going to simply use 20 or so games to prove he's the same?

He SUCKS on defense and you cannot be considered elite if you suck at 50% of the game while not making others better. Even Steve Nash couldn't get to the Finals and Iverson got crushed 4-1 in the Finals. Irving isn't 50% of those two but yeah we should be making a trade for this chump. Please!

Wait... so Curry isn't elite? lmao Nash wasn't elite? DRose's MVP season wasn't elite? You're out of your mind. The last I checked, the following current point guards can't play D:

Curry, Harden, Isiah, Kemba, Lillard, Kyrie.... and I'll just stop there because aren't those some of the best teams in the league? I wonder how that happened there............

derrick rose mvp season wasn't elite at all, in fact derrick rose is probably one of the least deserving mvp's ever.

Market for Kyrie must not be as dry as perceived if Cavs describe situation as "fluid". Hope this explodes in their face and their left with their dick in their hand. Jerkoffs!

Those last 70 seconds, Randle in a nut shell.

Awful 2 for 1 3PT attempt when we are up 2
Doesn’t close out on Sabonis --> open 3
Takes another side step off balance 3

We got sucked into the Randle vortex where all good feelings go to die.

If Frankie Ice fulfills his potential and the Knicks can keep Frankie in a Kyrie trade, I think a core of KP/Frank and Kyrie can work.

Frank can become the perfect backcourt teammate next to Frank. Can become a defensive menace, with Kyrie you would definitely need another playmaker on the floor, and Frank has already shown to be capable of being a catch and shoot player. And obviously, Frank is 6'5 with a much talked about 6'10 wingspan. So he has the size to play both the PG and SG position.

Most importantly, we need an offensive system that stresses ball movement ( please save your triangle jokes!! ). We cannot let Kyrie dominate the ball and have a high usage rate. We cannot replicate the Cavs system of heavy iso ball.

I think its essential to keep Frank in a Kyrie deal.

If you trade 1st rounds pick in a deal, please make them protected. We absolutely need a safety net.

The more time that passes the more I think Kyrie stays in Cleveland and they work out their differences.

Well , there is some incentive for Cleveland to trade him now. Next year teams may view Kyrie similar to the George situation and thus stay away from him. That said it would have to be a good deal for Irving. They won't just give him away. A strong youn prospect and a first round pick is the absolute minimum.
