He'll of course look better on the Cavs. He can slide into kyries role pretty easily although they will have to make up for his shooting since he's not as good a shooter as Irving.

Wow 2.1 million ? Knicks should've brought him back !! 3 year 18 million would've made him stay would've been good trade asset ...damn 2.1 and he was crying for a max last season he did play well 18 4 4

you see gm's are smart enough to look beyond rose's empty raw statistics on a losing team though. they know he was one of the worst starting guards in the league last year.

I dont think it will be a good fit, especially if he starts.

Awful defender, as noted a terrible shooter from the perimeter and doesnt like to catch and shoot. Since LeBron is so damn good, they might be able to get away with Rose being on the floor against a bad defensive team. But against the better defenses in the league, it will be a problem.

He'll be solid as their 6th man if they make him come off the bench.

i wouldn't want him for free so i actually understand. think about it like this, we replaced him with ron f*cking baker and we looked better. to the point that we actually gave ron baker more money than he's getting. he'll be in china sooner than later.

I actually didn't mind rose all that much. Obviously it was a terrible season for us but he was fairly entertaining to watch. He did what we got him to do. Attack the rim. That was the specific need at the time. People hated him for not defending well. Or setting up plays well. Or at all. But I wasn't surprised he didn't bring those things.

Situation, position, system and role also played a factor though. I think he can still be serviceable as a starter as an attacking shooting guard. Especially next to a passer shooter. He also would be good as a bench gunner. 2nd unit guy. Give him the ball and let him run wild.

He's very unstable emotionally for a guy who's so mute and mono. He went through a lot in the offseason but his awol thing shows he's kinda unreliable mentally. Biggest question will be is he willing to accept another role than he's accustomed to.

But all in all. I have to say. He provided me with some rare on court entertainment last season. I hope he does ok.
