Agreed. We still suck. The longer this takes the less likely it is gonna ever happen. I'm leaning toward nothing happening at all. It's such a trash deal for us unless a 3rd team comes in.

The focus should be on what is best for the Knicks and KP. That's all. What Melo wants is not a priority nor should we care at this point.

any trade where we take back anderson sucks and should not be done. Doing a trade just move melo and and yuou take back worse plays does not make sense. Completely and utterly a waste.

Why use the cap space on anderson when you have kp that plays the same position much better.

No Anderson if he is such a good player they should have no issue moving him for a player the Knicks want then.
I personally do not care what Melo wants he wants Houston great then get on the phone Melo and let them know no deal until the package is better.
The Knicks have the leverage over Melo and the rockets. They can get a better package together or Melo stays. Melo really wants out then he can expand his team list so we can get the better deal. If not melo stays and plays like a pro. If he does not play like a pro then he hurts his next contract and that is hat he is playing/planning for

The Rockets feel like they will trade for Melo, but don't want him. They'll take him if its convenient.

The Knicks feel like they would prefer moving on from Melo, but don't need to.

Meaning no one is really motivated to budge here or has any reason to be. I think Melo himself is probably more likely to expand his list as time goes on than the Rockets are to give up fair value for Melo or the Knicks taking anything less than fair value.

Exactly. It's not like they are asking Melo to accept a deal to go to Atlanta or Orlando or another bad team. We heard Portland, New Orleans and Milwaukee as possible options. All 3 are good teams. But Melo only wants Houston, who isn't offering a fair deal even though they have the assets and contracts to get it done, so **** him.

I also think he has demonstrated a close tie to Courtney Lee as well.

It's about satisfying the Fans too. It's been a longggg time since that last good playoff run.
