I would as many wins possible to be in the top 2 picks of the draft. All while keeping Melo...

Dgaf about wins/losses. Just give me some luck in the lottery drawing and I'm good. We need Doncic more than anyone. It is destiny!

Real talk tho, ESPN is usually pretty accurate with this each year (pertaining to us at least).

I think it's pretty accurate. It really sucks how weak the East is this year. Going to be hard to beat out some of these teams for a top lottery pick. Could easily see us being surprisingly good if Frank surprises like KP as a rookie. If KP, Willy, and Hardaway take big steps forward and Noah isn't banged up, we won't be able to tank with Melo still here.

Amazing that Espn predicts 36 wins get you into the playoffs this year in the East. Imagine us going 35 and 47 and getting in the playoffs as an 8 seed

you have one win separating 9th place from 12th place and only 3 wins separating 8th from 12th. no way the knicks won't f*ck this draft up. you'll be fighting for the playoffs until the final week of the season.

you also have 5 teams in the west who are at 34 wins or lower. you can stop dreaming about doncic right about now.

Times are a changing. I remember when a prediction like this would've sent the board in an uproar. But yeah, sounds about right.

also, the guy we hired to fix our ship has seemingly put together the worst or 2nd worst team in the league.

I cant see this team winning 30 games. I have them at 25 max.

Exactly other than the bulls and hawks we have the least talented roster in the league.

We will not win more than 25 games next year.

Doesn't work that way. Teams jump up in the top 3 all the time. Odds are against it but it is still a mathematical possibility.

32 wins is absolute best case scenario. Melo is going to miss some time if hes not traded, so its far closer to 25 wins IMO. Only team in our way for number one pick overall is ATL. I cant see how they win more than 9 games TBH.

Can we correlate that Porzingis isnt nearly as good as everyone thinks he is to the fact the Knicks are going to suck again next year?
