Sessions can carry us were exactly?

Compression is great.

I said I don't care who carries us to the playoffs. It could be Sessions for all I care. If we are winning it shouldn't matter. It's the losing that should.

What is compression? I'm confused. I just don't think Sessions has the mental or testicular fortitude to lead us anywhere.

Historically, if you get a great big man you were guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. Theoretically, KP could will the team there, if his game blossoms enough this year.We shall see!

Probably more like 22, but add in the meaningless games Timmy will win for us and I guess it's about 25.

The potential bump from KP THJ WHG and having a defensive guy like Frank guarding PGs around a Dad Melo could be in the playoff hunt. Sadly.

I'd rather move him Lee KOQ for prospects / assets / shorter contracts and give Frank KP WHG and THJ all the opportunity for development. If we win 35 games with that group, I'll take it as progress. I doubt we will break 25 with that group and will gladly accept the top 5 pick headed our way.

This myth that players don't develop during bad seasons is ludicrous. Take a look at UTA. Guys like Hayward Gobert Favors Hood (the 2nd season) all developed during their back to back seasons to the lottery as a bottom 5 team in the west. In 15-16 they had injury issues but last year they won 50 games as they took the leap.

Just be patient Perry. Aim to make the leap in 19-20 at the earliest.

If we have a modicum of health and chemistry we will be a 40+ win team. If we do what we should do, we will hopefully be a 22 win team and get the #1 pick!

How much will KP improve? How about Willy? What will Frank give us? How good is Dotson going to be? Will Baker be a better team player than Rose? Will Melo still be here? If not, who will we get for him? How will THJ effect the team?
ESPN really doesn't have a clue.

ESPN really doesn't have a clue.

So many questions, without any evidence that ESPN ever answered them. In fact, there's no evidence they even asked them.

I was watching an ESPN discussion on Melo today and the guy actually asked "who else do they have besides Melo"? You call that journalism?

Is it just me or does it seem like they are predicted to win 32 games every year?

I don't, but a lot of people apparently do. Or they think that when Stephen A screams anything, it's really incisive analysis. Most people don't know much and expect even less. At least here on this board, stupid stands out (perhaps too often LOL).

I am kind of amused. Previously, this thread would incite a riot amongst Knick fans defiantly believing the Knicks to be better. This is the FIRST time in a very long time that the fans in this forum aren't fighting ESPN.

For the first time, we understand that they don't understand us very well, and we mostly don't want to win meaningless games just to hurt our future draft picks. And some of us are totally burned out and have become apathetic.

32 sounds about right with Melo. Without him maybe a few less. Some variance based on KP's health and how "ready" Frank is. But as long as we get the young kids a bunch of minutes and hopefully end up with a good draft pick the season will be a success imo.
