Yup one of the reporters asked if you can rebuild in NY and Steve responded that the fanbase wants to rebuild.
Cited this specific conversation with a fan as an example of the franchise.

They didn't say delvec gave them the insight. They used him as proof that the fans will be patient and actually want this.

I was more commenting on the listening to fans part. If they ran into some fan that said come on we need to win now would that make them more likely to trade our 1st round pick?

that was going to be my next point. If they ran into a few casual knicks fans who remember mark jackson and say bring him in. Does that mean they would pick him?
