He's not that old and he has been good recently in spot minutes. I doubt this signals Melo is gone we just dont have much SF. Could signal more small ball as well.

Is this really a tank move? Didn't Beas have a pretty good season for the bucks?

Yeah he is only 28. I wouldn't mind having him around long term. I really think he is one of those guys that if he gets his looks, he will score and score a lot.

It's an unintentional tank move. Beasley is legit horriawful but I'm guessing the Front office isn't looking at it that way. He'll end up making the team worse.

My first thoughts as well. Beasley is like Bootleg Melo.

Cheap low-risk signing. I'm hoping it signals the end of the Melo era. I know I'll get flamed but Melo and Beasley are almost the same players at this stage in their careers. Beasley is more efficient.

He's a good bench scorer.

Remember how hyped Beas was coming out of school. He was neck and neck with Rose for number one pick. He could score with his eyes closed! Too bad he was lazy and an idiot.

This is a good deal for us. We will need someone to replace Melo, it's a one year deal and if Beasley performs well we should be able to find a playoff team for him at the trade deadline and package someone with him for a first round pick.

Its a 1 year deal for the minimum. That has nothing to do with Melo. And comparing this idiot to Melo is criminal.

This tells me that a Melo deal is definitely still in the works
