Agreed, plus I don't know why people care about what is essentially an extra $2M. You can't really do anything with that amount.

no one's really tripping
i would've preferred to give that money to shabazz muhammad then sign baker for the vet min. i think that would've been the better option. but it's cool tho

I guess, but Shabazz Muhammad is really just a more expensive Beasley.

So it all comes out in the wash :dontknow:

Because Shabazz is undersized and would be more suitable at SG where we're stacked, whereas Beasley can play both SF and PF effectively.

--Mags

he can play SF
anyways I'm not mad about the Beasley signing, I just think shabazz would be a better option since he has more upside

Shabazz is ass. Total chucker and one of the worst defenders in the league.

3headedmelo doesn't care about defense at all. He just looooves those empty calories.

He's in the top ten for worst defenders.

yeah they're pretty much the same players.
only difference is shabazz is 24 and Beasley is 28 (I think). it's no biggie tho, just would've preferred him instead cause he's younger

Well, I love my Mac, too, but mine can't give so many +1s in so few minutes. You either have quick hands or a magic touch!

Ironically, there's a story on Shabazz in wiretap that says his value dropped and he can't find a team, so he may re-sign with the Wolves for the vet minimum. Not sure why his stock fell, and also not sure if he was willing to sign for that price when we signed Beastly. Oh well.

Hi ballboy!

It would be so nice if this were true, but it was written by Berman.

So we won't believe it unless we see it.

Knicks assistant coach Kurt Rambis coached Beasley in the triangle offense with the Timberwolves in 2010-11, giving him a career-high 72 starts. Rambis phoned the free agent in mid-July. It’s an indication some triangle principles could remain in Jeff Hornacek’s new attack.

You can thank Kurt for getting the ball rolling for me in in New York,’’ Beasley said. “I told him I’d love to play there. He said he’d make a phone call.’’

Beasley can score lots. I hope his defense is decent. Lots of guys can score.

Raptors fan here.

I watched a lot of Bucks games last year bc I own Giannis and Parker in fantasy dynasty. Criticize his D if you want, but on offense, he looked really really good. He did not play at all selfishly and was a threat to score every time down the floor. With the Knicks rebuilding and not necessarily looking for wins, Beasley could be poised for a big season (at least from a fantasy perspective). I'm looking forward to seeing him and Porzi together.

That "Walking Bucket" quote is just begging for a "Walking Dead" mashup photoshop.

The good parts of the article are the Beas quotes, so unless Berman is purposefully misquoting him, you can probably stop throwing your 'head coach' status around with such temerity.
