If the players don't like Rambis and Hornacek is asking to keep him, that reflects on his abilities as head coach. In that case, we just heard that Blatt is looking to get back into the NBA.

Bringing Blatt before preseason would make sense. Blatt needs time to teach his sets, basketball philosophy to the team.
Either fire Hornacek now or let him work for full year.

Probably, some consistency has it's own benefits. If the team begins to lose faith in Hornacek mid season, they have the option of hiring Blatt as some sort of scout or consulting with the understanding that he could be promoted to head coach if (when) Hornacek leaves.

Still, I'll miss Abbey.

Blatt wont be able to fix the ship when he leave his team to take Knicks job in midseason.
I'm not a fan of Doc Rivers but he can bring positives to the team in short term.
Blatt involved in more technical stuff. He builds defensive/offensive structures that takes time to learn.

I want Rambis out as soon as possible. If Horny wants him to stay then he can GTFO too.

Back then, logistics stuff was MUCH different. There wasn't even the type of coverage as their was now (Social Media).

I wouldn't like to be in a military base eighter. It was a weird selection. Especially with a team of many foreign players.

There is no doubt in my mind David Blatt is going to be our next head coach.

Do you say this because of Mills, or do you have other reasons?

Problem is, this is the year we find out if Horney is any good at all. We need to see if he can create an offense and get the team playing D. If either answer is not yes, we better hope Blatt is available when we call.
