Depends how long it takes the current regime to dig out from under the avalanche of sadness PJax left behind.
If they focus on prospects / assets / shorter contracts in trades, we could set ourselves up for a long extended run from 19-20 onwards. Two top 10 picks and the addition of a stud in 2019 FA could make this team a perennial contender in the first half of the 20's.
If they look for more win now players on longer contracts, they may back into a playoff spot this year but the future isn't as bright as it could be.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if we made it this year. Hopefully that's not the case.
If we get Doncic or MPJ I definitely expect the playoffs in 2018-19
