KP on Randolph

"He was being physical, tried to play dirty vs me all game. Its okay, I've been used to it. Everyone tries to be very physical against me. But he was being dirty. And that last play.. I dunno, perhaps he got an inferiority complex. So he really tried to show something"

Basically I'm wondering if he took an already good team and made them even better, or if he took a nothing/irrelevant team and made them a factor (or if it's somewhere in between)...

I don't know that I fully understood the responses to this question - can the Euro fans bring some clarity?

Iam not seeing a response.

But ill give it myself.

Its really hard to judge in European basketball.

Generations come and go, a bunch of teams misses their key players every year.

So if we purely talk about this year. I think Latvia was ranked as the 7th best team before the tournament. Without KP they would probably be just outside of top10.

edit: Btw, Latvia will finish either 5th or 6th. Depending on how Serbia vs Italy game ends.

I can't even fathom this. That would be too much good luck for a Knicks fan. Doncic is that final piece we are missing from becoming a top young team.

Is that supposed to be an insult?

You picked the one thing that's actually a positive. If you're a professional athlete you're supposed to give it your all for the team, no matter the badge.

What's your problem man? You're salty because he's a good basketball player and played a key role in knocking out Latvia? Did he shag your girl or something? Grow up.

Used to like Knicks fans and like reading this sub, but man some members here today are making a fool of themselves.

The point is he's not Slovenian, or European for that matter. He just made himself look like a clown today.

He's been a clown long before he got the Slovenian passport haha. That's not new.

I'm against FIBA rules allowing this to happen... but since most teams take advantage, I can't really fault the Slovenian basketball federation for doing it. Rules should be the same as in FIFA.

Yeah it's always the same with Euro prospects, they get their 10mins of fame in the summer because there's nothing else to watch.
But then NBA and NCAA starts and everybody forgets about them because who the f*** watches Euroleague?
But the scouts remember, and they draft them, and people are all like "who's this euro scrub we drafted, didn't you see such and such yesterday in summer league"

You guys fell for it with KP, fell for it with Frankie, and if you draft Doncic you will fall for it again LOL
