KP - ?
KD or LeBron - Lance
2018 Pick - Timmy
Frank - Lee
Mudiay - Burke

That team would make some noise in the East for sure.

I think they'll come here for the minimum cause they could make so much money from advertising. Not sure we'll get KD until we win a championship. But he'll join us right after

We will probably fall into the top 5 into the draft although itll be an all out tank war. I just think we're bad enough...

I assume guys like Ayton, Bagley and Doncic is top 3.. 4/5 is Porter Jr. / T.Young .. So let's say we finish with the 4th or 5th pick.. and you take Porter. (I know Porter and Porzingis injuries but it can work)

Will Barton 3 y / 12 m
Jeff Green 1 y / 5 m
Wilson Chander 2 y / 7m

G:Emmanuel Mudiay | Frank Ntilikina | Trey Burke
G:Will Barton | Tim Hardaway Jr. | Ron Baker
F:Michael Porter Jr. | Wilson Chandler
F:Jeff Green | Lance Thomas | Luke Kornet
C:Kristaps Porzingis | Kyle O'Quinn

Wil Barton and his agent laugh at your 4 million per year. He's easily outperformed that salary. Also, starting the thing off with Mudiay as the PG makes it fail before it can even fly.

bwaahahahahahahaahha will barton $4m. ok. i'm out.

They 100% would and I 100% wouldn't.

You trade our 3 greatest assets for Kawhi and you're stuck holding your thumb up your ass the next 5 years as a treadmill team.

Yup. The trade I would consider heavily would be KP + Timmy or Lee. And the Spurs wouldn't.

Wishful thinking. THe immediate solution

Post#1628 » by bleedblue3303 » Thu Mar 1, 2018 3:19 am

Ok so if we are no rebuilding and bringing Doc. Here is my immediate trades. By the way not sure we don't do this anyway.

Here goes.

1. We offer KP and Lee to San Antonio for Leonard.
2. We offer Frank, Kanter and our first round draft pick for Lilard.
3. We back Channel and get the word if we pull off these 2 we sign lebron.

Whose not with me.

PG Lilard
SG Tim
SF Leonard
PF Lebron
C Noah

I think we can go to finals with this squad.

I wouldn't trade those pieces for Kawhi, i'm saying the spurs absolutely would trade him for that return

Booker got waived.

I'd pick him up if he was at all interested in playing in NYC and would rather not relocate for whatever random reason. Better than LFT. Would solve backup PF for a couple of seasons.

edit*

nm - Saw the Pacers are signing him. Oh well, another franchise that knows what they are doing, as opposed to the Knicks.

With what money would we sign him? He should get more than the MLE, which is more than we would have...

What do you think about @kporzee? Karl-Anthony Towns: PorzinGOD does not care or need my opinion for he is a higher life form then all of us.

Who is up for trading our pick along with Lee (and filler ie Lance+cash) for Fultz and Bayless this summer....(basically letting the Sixers get a do-over on the pick and us hoping we can salvage the player).

He's a good bench player. He probably wanted to go to a playoff team anyway. But not like the Knicks couldn't use some more talent on the bench. Plus they could have used a backup PF. Again, probably this was all up to Booker anyway so moot.

It'll be cool watching the Knicks roll out Beasley\LFT at PF for 50-82 games next year though.
