No, but at the same time, Lakers got a late first for Lou Williams, nets got a late first for bogdanavich, and the blazers got a first for plumlee, so getting back a first, while not guaranteed, isn’t out of the question.

Both LAL & BKN too back a bad contract in the transaction.

We may need to go to bad contract route. Especially given this team looks awfully bad anyways. Minnesota is trying to move Aldrich and want some veteran help. If it means to get a first round pick from them, we should do that. Milwaukee is trying to unload Teletovic and Henson for cap reasons. We may have an opportunity there too.

KOQ for Aldrich and a 1st makes some sense. I would do it.

Knicks could do that too. Oh, Noah and Hardaway have used up all the cap room

I don't think OQuinn has that kind of value. My thinking was more like Lee.

saw on trade board a magic fan proposed DJ Augstin and OKC1st rounder for O'Quinn..
Pretty solid deal if you ask me... I know Augustin had 3 years 21mil remaining but he can be a true vet stop gap.. plus the pick prob in the 22-26 range sounds pretty decent.. dont think we can get a 1st for O'Quinn unless we take back a bad contract and of all the bad contracts out there Augstin might actually be able to help on the court

I'd do that in heartbeat and figure out the PG glut later on. :D

Still not a bad trade. In 3 years Melo and George might be just about done. Also, IIRC, Augustin only has about 2 years on his deal. :dontknow:

Begley's saying 2020 before we can dive into free agency.

Also says that teams are interested in Lance and Kyle.

I still want Harkless or Kidd-Gilchrest. I would even take NDour back for his potential defense.

It's crazy to think how big of a bullet we dodged there by dropping to the 4th overall pick in the 2015 draft. Reports where out that Jackson (and half this board) also wanted Okafor badly. Basketball gods really blessed us by screwing us over

When has Okafor ever come close to averaging a WS48 of .200 for three straight seasons? Only in his dreams.

I mean, it's basically like getting a 3-4 year younger Kanter. Games are identical.
