PG brings the ball up and runs a strong side P&R. If nothing is there the ball swings to the weak side and we free style(iso). There aren’t enough pin downs and curls and backdoor cuts in his offsense.

Jeff isn’t a good coach. Add his lack of offensive creativity to the fact he has no clue how to put a defensive scheme together and this is what you get.

This year is even worse. He doesn’t have Rose slashing and driving or Melo bailing his dumb ass offense out in iso.

You've probably seen my posts. It's the dullest offense ever. Here comes the half ass pick for the point guard.....and that's it. Oh, sometimes they take 10 seconds for someone to establish post position, he gets the ball, gets doubled and forces a shot or swings to someone who is covered too.

His true position is probably SF. He is just slightly oversized for that It is actually quite easy to use him as PF on offence and as C on def. Just look how Latvia did it at Eurobasket.

This is exactly what I envision for KP. However we need a legit pf/c next to him who can score in the paint at will while being able to lock down the stretch 4 on D.

when just about everyone was clammoring for him to work out with Dirk, I was like the only one here saying he should be working with Durant because he's more SF than PF or C. Peeps responding acted like I was crazy....some of you are here in this thread.

Hoenestly, he should work out with both. He should also work out with Hakeem to improve his foot work, Kobe to improve his mental focus. He is still young and has a lot of room to improve in many areas as do the rest the young players in the league.

It's really hard to build chemistry when you're trying to start from scratch and the young guys keep getting injured like KP, Frank and Baker.

They need to all be healthy to get a little cohesion between them. All those old ass guys need to either be cut (**** u sessions and jack) or coming off of the bench.

What's the Nets reason? There are only a couple of returning guys. I'd say about the same number.

This is not a “from scratch” team either. Removing Melo simply made us unwatchable. It didn’t clear the deck because he’s only 1 player.

going to sit back and just laugh as all the things they blamed on Melo will continue and possibly get worse. The blamed Melo for slowing down the offense, well, we will not have Iso Kristaps. The sad thing is in 2 preseason games you can actually hear our guys call out ISO, on multiple occasions just before someone iso'ed. Bad enough it still happens but, no reason to be announce it lmao.

They are giving the keys to the team to Kristaps and told him to be the leader. This from a guy to timid to demand the ball......I think he would be an unbelievable Robin, I just don't see Batman there at all.

Nowhere. The reward for losing is more losing. Especially if the team is built with bad decisions from management, ill-fitting players and coaches who can't teach and develop players.

I just think expecting this guy to put up a lot of shots and go on runs regularly is not realistic. But why should he have to?

KP can be really good as a floor if he defends and just hits some shots. Instead he could try to "be an All-Star" and end up getting 19 PPG in a way that is unimpressive and unhelpful. It's a trap if he goes that way.
