Toni Kukoc??

Kukoc was a great passer. A true point forward.

There's somebody I'm trying to think of but can't but on offense he almost reminds me of none other than Mo Harkless. Mo gets more on the inside though.

Thunder Dan Majerle??

More physical if memory serves - but not a bad comparison.

MCDermitt is th SF version of Jimmer Fredette.

He is 25 so he hasn't reached his prime. He could be as productive as THjr for a fraction of the price.

Still think Beasley is the guy to watch

coach, mcdermott is wayyyyy more athletic than jimmer. he has more to offer than a steve novak. he can cut hard and dunk it.

he's an atrocious defender. he slides his feet on defense and we see a basketball player.

Fredette Career PER12.6

MCdermet Career PER 10.4

That's awful

that's disrespectful to majerle, who had toughness and killer instinct. and... mcdermott is more athletic still.

really, all the comparisons i want to draw for mcdermott are bad because doug is more athletic. rashard lewis came to mind, but dude couldn't jump over a phone book.

walt williams isn't the shooter mcdermott is, but he's a similar physical makeup who could cut and jump in his prime.

Getting hyped over someone who most likely wouldn’t stay for long on the team, yup.

And what’s with all these disrespectful comparisons with all the accomplished old schoolers? Doug hasn’t done **** other than shooting 3’s

Here's my McDermott comparison: any 6'7" white guy that could shoot. But not anyone too accomplished, as to not piss off the player comparison police.

Did I do it right?

Why do people waste time with player comparisons? Every player is unique. Now shut up.

It's like the comparison police think if you compare McDermott or any player to anyone that played in the past that you're saying McDermott or that player has already done in his short career what that past player did in his entire career which is ridiculous for them to think that and you would think they'd be smart enough to figure out that all that's simply being said is McDermott or that players game looks like the way that past player played his game.

I wonder if i made that too complicated for the comparison police to figure out?? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

That's a horrible comparison. His game is nothing like the Bird man's game. You should no longer be able to compare players and if you do then i might have to call the PC Police on you.
