Tough to say how good or bad we will be. What is Porzingas without Melo? Can Frankie change his Euro game to the NBA style? Does Noah have anything left? What is our big man rotation? How does Horny coach now that he isn’t stuck in the triangle? Is Tim Hardaway a valid second option?

I think our bench will be one of our strong points and we might get just as much scoring from them as our starters.

I think this teams win totals can vary between 25-35. If everything goes wrong 20 wins if everything goes right could the Knicks win 40 games? Yeah if Frankie is ROY and Noah plays like he’s 25 again. But we’ll probably get the 7th or 8th pick and get no franchise player like usual.

The only difference is, all those awful teams have a direction

Chicago being the exception, those teams also have decent (or better) point guards and playmaker/creators. We have zero on this team, no one can consistently break down the defense or create for others. The offense is going to be a chore in addition to our dreadful defense.

Lee has the most on court value but that contract isn't great for his age.

KOQ has the best contract but he's hit or miss.

LFT needs to watch 15-16 tape again. He was solid when he stayed in his lane. Play D & shoot open 3's. That's it.

Lee for Abrines Singler Huestis (Ferguson isn't going to happen unfortunately)

LFT for Ajinca Jackson

KOQ Chi 2nd for Nader Larkin BOS 1st

this team is not on Bkn, Atl or Pho's levels. We will compete with Chicago for the worst record in the league. It gets worse. This franchise is too inept to properly tank so, this team will suck ass and still not get the top pick. Hell, even if they did tank right, the bad Karma around this franchise will guarantee we don't get the number 1pick. Tanking is not the answer. At some point you have to start developing a mentality that losing is not OK. Stop selecting guys solely on their ability to score because the best defenders in the league rarely come in as good scorers too.

I am confident that the Knicks can lose with anyone. We may well be the worst team in the league.

Indeed, yes.

We have the anti-tank legend himself, Tim Hardaway, here to help too.

Can you imagine? 10-day contract to game 7 Sasha to end the season?

Knicks were 9-51 without Melo over the last 3 seasons soo, yea we will be bad. Top 3 bad unless KP can outperform Melo but he is a player that needs a good pg to be most effective.

2nd worst. Chicago is worse and the roster is hopeless for the future as well.

Revisiting this conversation, the bulls just beat the cavs in Cleveland by 14. Lebron love wade Rose crowder all played significant minutes. And I really don't even want to mention this part but Justin Holiday had 28 and 11.

The Bulls are way better.

The Bulls might be the only team clearly worse. But that's never stopped Philly from somehow landing a top 3 pick. Simmons & Embiid are walking injury alerts.

Hornacek has pretty much implied that we should strap in for some tanking. So I think we have a great shot at Top 3.

I think we can sneak into the top 3 is Beasley, Sessions, Kanter and LFT play. Beasley and Kanters defense alone is worth 20 losses. They are two of the most uninterested, unaware defenders I've ever seen. That Rockets game was a Sherman **** Tank Masterpiece. Literally Cappela, a giant Swiss man ... just runs unimpeded the entire length of the court, right by Kanter who is guarding Ryno and right past Be-easy who is stoned and guarding nobody. Gets a pass and dunks with nobody touching him. They are magnificent.

The Patton and Eisenhower of tank commanders!

It's pretty much us and Cleveland at this point.

We might set the golden state record opposite way. 9-73
