Dotson talents are already better than Shump....

Hopefully Dotson can continue to improve everyday and have a solid NBA career with us.

Was wondering why was Jamal Artis drop so fast? Did he wanted to be let go? Euro Deal?

He's already a better shooter than Shumpert ever was.

He's closer to Courtney Lee than Shump. True 3&D player.

can dotson make a layup, cause if he can he's above Chumpert. 6-7 years in and chump still cant make a layup with someone within 5ft of him

Sucks to know he's like Shumpert, was hoping he had a higher offense ceiling. Maybe he gets dropped for Burke

Lee

not happening until we trade Lee...we still hopefully can get a late 1st rounder for Lee in a trade and we need to continue to have him play to boost his value. Come out shooting 40% from 3 with some good defense.

Dotson hopefully will get a lot of time but his time to start will come down the road...maybe even after the deadline.

he's a trooooooooolllll

shumpert before he had the injury and stopped focusing on basketball to be a musician was a good solid role player. He had some nice moments for us during our last playoff run. Game 6 vs the celtics and pacers he showed up big time and made some big plays.

What I see from dotson he just seems to be in the right position at the right time. Whether its a timely cut or even in good position to crash the boards to start a fast break or a transition opportunity. He is unselfish, competes defensively, and can make an open shot. He continues to improve he will be a great 2nd round find and complimentary piece to the roster.

I agree.

If Dotson manages to garner serious rotation mins (15-20 MPG), then Baker or LFT will be out entirely, which is fine with me.

Interesting comp in the articles between Dotson and Shump — it really is true when you watch the way Dotson moves around the court. Body type, athleticism – really similar between the two. Dotson even has Shump’s old number. Hopefully Dotson can actually shoot.

Like I said in another thread, the rotation has to be set so him and Frank get PT together

Thanks, Phil!

im hoping the rotation will be

WHG/Kanter
KP/KOQ
Lee/Mcdermott
Thjr/Dotson
Frank/Baker

that is the 10 guys im most interested in seeing play...hopefully we can find deals for KOQ or Kanter...and then Lee and Lance Thomas...that should free up minutes for other players as well.

But for some reason I don't see Horny not playing Sessions which means he will cut into someone minutes. But that is the 10 guys im most interested seeing play. Beasley is ok but I don't see a long term future here.

Frank Baker
THJ
Dotson MCD
KP
WHG KOQ

Please let these 8 get most of the PT.

Everyone else can fill in as needed and/or waive towels from the bench.
