NYT has been using this feed as well so I trust it
also read elsewhere that it may be a result of road rage as well. They are treating it like an active shooter scene though.

To me it looks like someone rented a truck and intentionally tried to kill a bunch of people with it but who knows

I ride on that bike path all the time. It's nowhere near the road. This had to be intentional.

Crazy when these hit close to home. I'm running the nyc marathon Sunday and needed to get a quick run in during lunch. Left from the NYSC on 14th street -ran down the bike path on the west side highway and turned around at that spot just an hour or two before that. This world is such a violent place.

Im right here and all the sirens didn't even draw my attention
but now that I know Im seeing the obviousness of it
I find it hard to imagine its road rage if there was a shooting
and Im horrified that Stuyvesant high is right there and might have been the target
that infuriates me beyond words
those poor kids
additionally this is about as hard a target area as there is. Cops frickin everywhere down here
