I would not trade Kanter for Okafor. I believe Okafor's ceiling is basically what Kanter is today.. I really think we can get a 1st round pick for him if he continues this type of play. However I wouldn't be surprised if the front office thinks he's a keeper.

Hezonja (SG) 6'8 218#, presently 14/26 and 7/13 for the season and only 22 .......the Knick (SG's) are Baker (24) 6'4 220#,Dotson (23) 6'5 210#210# and Lee (32) 6'5 200#....Hezonja is younger and would make the Knicks long and active all over the court

We aren't getting a first for Kanter with his contract

What does it matter if he's not good at basketball?

If there is a team out there willing to extend him, giving up a late 1st rounder is not absurd. There are many 1 dimensional players getting signed to big contracts yearly. He is entering his prime and on offense puts up a lot of points in short bursts. His rebounding is also above average. I'm not a fan of his game but he is not a scrub either.

they lack backup PGs... Kuz and Sessions for him... matches also the salaries
