then how he got all those turnovers then? His usage % is 15th in the entire NBA...so he has to have the rock...
his turnovers are a problem, I never denied that
im just saying DSjr usage % ranks him 15th in the entire NBA
for example franks usage % ranks him 142nd
im just saying you can't use the he's playing the 2 guard more...because he still has a high usage
lets break it down for a second...
he took 23 shots (thats 23 possessions)
he had 2 assists (that 2 possessions)
he had 6 turnovers (thats 6 possessions)
and he had 2 FT's (lets assume thats one possession)
He scored 27 points (he had 2 assists for the sake of argument lets say he assisted to one 3 and one dunk). That 5 points plus his 27 points say that DSjr impacted 32 Mavs points during the game on 32 possessions.
Thats a point per possession
now lets look at this line -
http://www.espn.com/nba/hollinger/teamstatsa point per possession would rank DSjr production that game right around 25th or 26th in the league. I'm not trying to be overly hard on DSjr im just saying I wouldn't promote 27 pts (32 effected points) on 32 possible possessions. It's not really efficient at all...
