Yeah...Bakers ceiling is backup PG...role player off the bench. I didn't know anyone thought he had starter potential. I love the kid and I don't think that. He needs to show if he can be that at some point this year. One guard at a time. Frank is more important right now. When Jack needs a break...I'm sure we'll see Baker. I expect Sessions to be cut but, that's no guarantee. 1 week left for someone on the roster.

No shame in being a guy like Matthew Dellavedova. If Ron Baker could at least play at his level, then it would allow the team not to have to rely so hard on Ntilikina early on.

Agreed. If Baker can get his shot back...he'd be a perfect bench role player. People talk about him as if he's a scrub getting way too much money. He's got potential as a quality bench player. He's played well for this team. I don't get the hate for the kid.

Yeah I think you guys are right. I think there is some resentment that he got a contract so easily without proving much of anything. Whereas guys like Galloway had to fight in the D league for a season before they got their shot. It's not Bakers fault Mills makes questionable decisions (I hope that no trade clause rumor isn't true). But if he can be a Delly type of player it would be a success!

Bruh, you’re so old, your social security number is 1.

At least it is printed on paper and not etched on to a stone tablet like yours. When Social Security asked you where you want them to send your check you said Horse # 5 on the Pony Express

The contract is peanuts. It should have been given to Justin but...whatever. Dotson is a younger Holiday. Baker played very well for us in limited inconsistent opportunities last year. He's got potential.

If he picks up his 1 year option they can't just trade him away to anyone. It's a technicality that basically is a NTC but...whatever. Let's see him play before we worry about that. It's still peanuts for money. Mills is no longer making these deals. Perry seems like he knows what he's doing.

I recall the Pacers blowing a big lead on our floor last year. MSG is a house of horrors for them lol.

Their own fault. They purposefully left Frank open. Bang bang you're dead.

If the Knicks were getting blown out and Melo were still here, he would still chuck up another 10 bricks, not get back on defense, and make Thaddeus Young eat his dinner. They would lose by 28. Glad that garbage is done with. BIG WIN.

There are tons of players in the NBA that take an entire season to amass the defensive highlights Frank has come up with in a matter of games. This kid is a savant on Defense.

It definitely could propel this club in the first half of the season. They more they believe in themselves the harder they'll work and the more dangerous they will become defensively
