THIS.

He has the proper skillset for a center in today's NBA, but not the drive or the game shape. Look at how Kanter and O'Quinn changed their body types (muscle lean), and conditioning is very important, no more dragging up and down the court.

And with Jeff, they also have to get out on the fastbreak

Lucky for him "drive" and being in "game shape" are factors that are under completely under his control.

Then he shouldn't half-ass this. He wants to play, show the coach and players you deserve it. So far, he hasn't.

Idk. Has Rudy Gay ever played for Utah?

I don't see that pitbull mentality like I've seen from Kanter/O'Quinn. I understand he needs consistent minutes, but until he makes those adjustments and changes his mindset, he's going to continue riding the bench.

Agreed. Willy can be disappointed all he wants, but until he shows that fire he's not going to see the court. We can't see the effort he puts in at practice, but if it's anything like the effort he put in during the Sacramento game in garbage time, I don't want to see him on the court.

He needs to make the most of his opportunity and he had a horrible showing in garbage time. I don't care that it was only nine minutes either. He was horrible.

Had a horrible showing vs. Orlando. Even if he went for 8/5 in 6 minutes, I still saw no drive for rebounding in his game thus far.

You guys feel good about tonight?

Kinda liking the Knicks moneyline. -185 looks good.

Assuming it'll be close, but i'm thinking they'll be hungry after that game vs Cle. Just don't see how Utah scores enough to hang with you guys.

I believe KP was bothered by that elbow injury so he wasn't playing at his full potential. This should be a bounce back game for him. Frank should continue to come off the bench, but gradually gain more minutes. I didnt like that Horny took him out in the 3rd and didnt bring him back in until it was too late.
Oh and before I forget........ Rudy's out and this should be a win!

I believe his 2 fouls early on threw his whole game off. He couldnt be aggressive anywhere.
