I dogged the Timmy signing enough, though not as much as others.

I wanted Courtney Lee moved badly at the beginning of the year. I hated his game through the first handful of games where it seemed he was shook to either take an open three OR drive to the basket - nothing but hesitancy and passing the buck to players younger and more green than him.

But he's turned it around, been a monster lately, and I couldn't be enjoying his leadership and assertiveness more.

I'll be more than happy to eat crow for my negative opinion on the Timmy deal if I have to but it will sure as hell not be now.

I understand the overall enthusiasm regarding Timmy's play so far, but guys, this is a young season, and I'm not jumping to conclusions right now.

I still think this is too big of a contract for him but hey, I like his spirit, I like his aggressiveness, and in that regard at least he's proven me wrong. Let's hope he maintains his current play in the long run.
